Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number (if you give it), what you need help with and your message.

We use these details only to answer your enquiry and to follow it up. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you tick the box on the form.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to answer and follow up. If it does not lead to an assignment, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep what the law requires, for example for accounting.

Who else sees it

The form sends your message by email to our inbox, through our web hosting provider. Our hosting and email providers process the data on our behalf, under data processing agreements. We never sell your details or share them for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

To stop spam, the contact form keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour. Like most websites, our host also keeps short-lived technical logs for security and operations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to our use of it, ask us to restrict it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email post@reic.no and we will reply within 30 days.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.no.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding a booking tool, we will update this page and the date at the top.
